Spend your day browsing the 150 retail outlets of Bicester Village or come along with us for a tour of Oxford, the Cotswolds, Warwick Castle, and Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon. The choice is yours.
Start your day in London where you will be picked up from your chosen location and be taken swiftly and smoothly off to Bicester shopping village. En route, see the arches of Wembley Stadium, an old Battle of Britain airfield, and the chalk hills of the Chilterns.
Be dropped off at Bicester for your day's shopping. For those who wish to see more of England, there's plenty of choice, all within a short distance of Bicester.
Drive through the Cotswolds to see some old stone-built villages. Visit the Rollright Stones, as old as Stonehenge itself. Nearby is Stow, with its famous church door, an inspiration to J.R.R. Tolkien when he was writing "The Hobbit."
There will also be time to visit Lower Slaughter and an old flour mill as well as Bourton-on-the-Water, known as the "Venice of the Cotswolds." Visit Burford, famous for its "wool" church and the Old Tolsey.
Another alternative, and one for children of all ages, is Warwick Castle where on selective dates you can see jousting, sword fighting, siege engines, and hawking. Within the castle itself, wax works recreate the dramatic events leading up to a battle in the Middle Ages.
For fans of Shakespeare, there is Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace, home, and final resting place of England's greatest dramatist. Visit Shakespeare's church where he was baptized, served as warden, and was buried. Visit his home and birthplace and tour other sites within this splendid town.
Another option is the cathedral city of Oxford and its dreaming spires. Take a stroll through the city and see some of its most famous sites such as the Radcliffe Camera, the Sheldonian Theatre, and Christ Church, the inspiration behind "Hogwarts" in the "Harry Potter" movies.
