商品説明
Discover the historic Walled City of Derry and the spectacular landscapes of Wild Donegal on a small group tour from Belfast.
With a maximum of just eight guests, this 9-hour experience combines fascinating history with some of Ireland's most dramatic scenery, taking you from the historic streets of Derry across the border into the wild landscapes of County Donegal.
Discover the Walled City of Derry
Begin your day exploring Derry, one of Ireland's most fascinating historic cities.
Your local guide will take you on a walking tour of the city's famous 17th-century walls, one of the finest examples of a walled city in Europe. Hear the stories behind the walls and discover the events that have shaped Derry over the centuries.
You'll also have free time to explore the city centre and discover attractions such as the Guildhall, Peace Bridge and Craft Village, before visiting two important landmarks associated with Derry's more recent history: Free Derry Corner and the Bloody Sunday Memorial.
Cross into Wild Donegal
Leaving Derry behind, cross the border into the Republic of Ireland and enter County Donegal.
The landscape changes dramatically as you travel into the Inishowen Peninsula, one of Ireland's most spectacular and least-developed coastal regions.
Travel through the mountains towards Mamore Gap, a dramatic mountain pass surrounded by rugged Donegal scenery, with opportunities to stop for photographs and enjoy the views.
Optional Doagh Famine Village
For a fascinating insight into Ireland's past, choose an optional visit to Doagh Famine Village.
This unique living-history experience brings rural Irish life to life, telling the story of the Great Famine and showing how people lived, worked and survived in this remote part of Donegal.
Admission to Doagh Famine Village is optional and payable separately.
If you choose not to visit Doagh Famine Village, your guide will instead provide an alternative scenic coastal experience in the area.
With a maximum of eight guests, you'll travel with a local guide who knows the region personally, and experience landscapes that are often missed by visitors following the main tourist routes.
From the historic walls of Derry to the rugged mountains and coastline of Wild Donegal, this is a day designed to showcase two very different sides of Ireland's North.
