Cumnock, Ayrshire: Sterling Silver Ring Making Workshop｜United Kingdom

Learn to create your very own simple sterling silver ring in a 2.5-hour workshop. Begin by working in copper to practice the techniques involved, and then in sterling silver. Use traditional jewellery making techniques of sawing, soldering, and polishing to create a beautiful silver band ring for you to wear and take home.

Learn to size your ring, add texture to the surface, solder, finish, and polish your ring so that you can wear it. The course cost includes materials for one silver ring. The workshop will take place at The Studio at Millbank, Millbank House, Cumnock, and a maximum of 8 attendees can take part in the workshop.

No previous jewellery experience is necessary, all materials to make your ring are supplied, and all tools needed for the class will be provided for use during the workshop.

As you will be working with tools, loose clothing should be avoided, closed-toe shoes should be worn, if you have long hair it should be worn tied back, and please remember to bring glasses if needed as you will be working with small objects.
