商品説明
Begin your Cardiff adventure in the heart of the city, where you’ll set off on a guided cycle tour designed to reveal the city’s fascinating history and green spaces. Ride along dedicated cycle paths to the grand Edwardian civic centre, taking in impressive architecture and the statue of the third Marquess of Bute, who famously rebuilt Cardiff Castle in the gothic style. Glide through the leafy avenues of Bute Park, renowned for its diverse arboretum and tranquil riverside paths.
Continue your journey north, following the river to the historic village of Llandaff. Here, you’ll discover the striking 12th-century Llandaff Cathedral, a centrepiece of Welsh heritage nestled in a peaceful setting. The route then leads to the Victorian Insole Court mansion, once home to pioneering mine owners. Pause for a relaxing coffee break in the mansion’s charming old potting shed café, soaking up the unique atmosphere.
On your return to the city centre, you'll have the chance to sample a Welsh cake straight from the bakestone and you'll explore some of Cardiff’s beautiful Victorian arcades, filled with independent shops and local character, and pass the old city jail, now transformed into a lively indoor market. This memorable cycle tour offers a unique perspective on Cardiff’s landmarks, hidden corners, and vibrant local life, ending back at your starting point in the city centre—perfect for further exploration at your own pace.
