Discover Würzburg's Old Town in a very special way – with exceptional top-quality Franconian wines and fascinating stories from over 1,300 years of city history.
This premium city tour, lasting around two hours, combines Würzburg's most beautiful landmarks with an exclusive wine tasting for connoisseurs and wine lovers. Together, we will explore the historic old town with its picturesque alleyways and important buildings. Learn about the Baroque Falkenhaus, the Upper and Lower Market, Neumünster, the Cathedral and the romantic Lusamgärtchen – complemented by entertaining anecdotes and genuine insider tips.
A special highlight is the Old Main Bridge with its unique view of the Main River, the Marienberg Fortress and the famous Würzburg vineyards. During the tour, we will taste three selected top Franconian wines from VDP.GROSSER LAGE®. You will learn how terroir and the winemakers' personal touch shape the character of great wines and why these are among the best wines in Franconia.
You will be accompanied by Karin or Markus – certified tour guides and certified Franconian wine experience guides. With in-depth knowledge of wine, passion and a great love for the region, we bring Würzburg and its wine culture to life in a special way.
