商品説明
The complex was once the residence of the Swabian dukes, served as a simple knight’s castle, became the state fortress of Württemberg, and even functioned as a state prison. Today, the historic walls offer visitors fascinating insights into centuries of history. Particularly impressive are the 18th-century redoubts and bastions, which have left their mark on the site in many places. Immerse yourself in the past with the well-known castle researcher Rudolf Martin and let the captivating atmosphere of these unique fortress ruins enchant you.
The guided tour starts at the Interpretive Center on Hohentwiel and ends at the fortress ruins. Sturdy footwear and a sure-footed gait are essential! The climb up to the fortress ruins is not wheelchair accessible.
