商品説明
Not your average tour. Definitely not.
Not for the faint-hearted, but perfect for curious minds.
Munich usually presents itself to visitors from its most beautiful side. This tour shows the other side: the real, documented history behind the pretty façades of the old town.
The tour begins with a short ritual that changes the way you see the city. After that, the trail leads to 7 original sites: the Wurmeck with its dragon as a memorial to the plague, the Mariensäule with the four evils of the Middle Ages, the Teufelstritt and many more, which, however, will not yet be revealed...
The focus is on events that actually took place, not made-up horror stories. We talk about witch trials and their arbitrary verdicts, about torture and imprisonment in the Old Town Hall, about the plague that wiped out entire families, about people who committed suicide, about the powerlessness of arbitrariness and about those who were executed, whose fates can still be felt in certain places to this day. The picture is rounded out by gruesome rituals from past centuries and, on the side, some legends about devils and ghosts that are associated with the Old Town. The arc of real-life horror stretches from the early Middle Ages to the horrors of the 20th century.
This isn't a fairy tale hour – every story is historically documented, and every trace still exists today. Small, authentic group with Peter & a maximum of 10 people.
