Discover Mainz in the evening and learn all about its history and anecdotes on a guided tour, and end the (work) day with a walking tour. From the Romans to modern times. From the banks of the Rhine to the Old Town. Enjoy the illuminated city at night and follow in the footsteps of Johannes Gutenberg and Napoleon Bonaparte.
We meet on the banks of the Rhine in front of the terrace of the Hilton Hotel and walk a bit along the banks of the Rhine. At the Fischtor, we go to Liebfrauenplatz and then to the high Mainz Cathedral of St. Martin. From there, we walk past the old St. John's Cathedral to the Kirschgarten. This is where the walking tour ends.
