The tour begins at the historic Gautor. From there, your guide will lead you over the Stefansberg to the impressive Mainz Citadel. This historic place has a very special charm, especially during the darker time of year. During the walking tour, you can expect a variety of quiz questions about Mainz, its history, famous personalities and surprising peculiarities of the city. The focus is not on winning, but on having fun together as you discover new things.
Afterwards, the tour continues to Mainz's historic Old Town. Amid winding streets, atmospherically lit squares and the half-timbered houses of the Kirschgarten, you will learn interesting and quirky facts about the state capital of Rhineland-Palatinate. Your guide will accompany the group in person, share fascinating stories and ensure that the tour remains lively and varied.
