Start your day with a pickup from your accommodation in the Rhine-Main area. Head to the first Christmas market in Mainz or Wiesbaden. Enjoy the festive atmosphere, taste local specialties, and sip on a glass of Glühwein. Between the Christmas markets there is also a little time for sightseeing. One of Germany's oldest monasteries, the world's first Riesling wine estate and a few very picturesque little wine-making villages are practically right on the way. The Christmas market in Rüdesheim has a very special charm, also because it is an international Christmas market - with specialties from all over the world. One of the best ways to experience the market from above is to take the Rüdesheim cable car.
