Day 2: Knysna to Oudtshoorn
On Day 2, visit Knysna East Head and Wilderness, where you can see the Map of Africa and Kaaimans Pass. Travel to Oudtshoorn via the Outeniqua Mountains. Visit the Safari Ostrich Farm and the iconic Cango Caves. Spend the night in Oudtshoorn.
Day 3: Oudtshoorn to Cape Agulhas
On Day 3, after breakfast at your accommodation, depart for Cape Agulhas, the true southernmost point of Africa where 2 oceans meet. On arrival, explore the area and climb the famous lighthouse. Admire the coastline, full of shipwrecks, and spot the local birdlife.
Day 4: Cape Agulhas to Cape Town
On Day 4, head to Cape Town via the beautiful R44. Stop for lunch in the scenic town of Hermanus, then visit Betty's Bay to view one of only 3 land-based African penguin colonies in South Africa. Arrive in Cape Town in the late afternoon.
