Spend a full day exploring the Franschhoek Valley, one of South Africa’s most celebrated wine regions. This 8-hour experience combines scenic travel from Cape Town with the flexibility of the Franschhoek Wine Tram system.
After pickup from your Cape Town accommodation, travel through the Cape Winelands toward Franschhoek. Upon arrival, your guide will assist with orientation and ensure you are ready for your Wine Tram experience.
Board the Wine Tram and Wine Bus, which operate on a hop-on, hop-off basis. Choose from a selection of wine estates along your chosen route, where you can enjoy wine tastings, cellar visits, estate walks, or lunch at your own cost. The tram allows you to explore at your own pace while enjoying views of vineyards and surrounding mountains.
Throughout the day, you will have the freedom to decide how much time to spend at each stop, depending on tram schedules and availability at the estates.
In the afternoon, meet your driver for the return journey to Cape Town, with drop-off at your accommodation.
