Day 1: Durban → Hluhluwe → St Lucia

Depart from Durban at 06:00am and travel toward Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Park, one of Africa’s oldest and most renowned game reserves.
Enjoy an exciting open-vehicle 4x4 safari led by experienced guides.
Wildlife sightings may include:
Rhinoceros (Hluhluwe is famous for conservation success)
Elephants
Lions
Zebras, giraffes, and antelope

Lunch Break: Own cost

Continue to the coastal town of St Lucia, gateway to iSimangaliso.

Overnight: St Lucia Palms (or similar)

Day 2: iSimangaliso Wetland Park → Durban

After breakfast, explore the incredible iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hippo & Crocodile Boat Cruise (±2 Hours)
Cruise the St Lucia Estuary
See hippos and Nile crocodiles up close
Spot a variety of birdlife

Lunch Break: Own cost

Afternoon Game Safari in Dukuduku
Explore the Dukuduku area within iSimangaliso
Possible sightings:
Elephants
Antelope and zebras
Diverse ecosystems including forest and wetlands
Return to Durban
Depart in the afternoon and travel back to Durban, arriving at around 6pm
