From Fes: 2-Day Merzouga Desert Tour to Marrakech｜Morocco

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

Depart from Fes early in the morning in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and travel through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop among the dunes to admire the beautiful sunset over Erg Chebbi before continuing to your desert camp. At the camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music around the campfire, sandboarding, and a peaceful evening under the Sahara stars. Spend the night in your desert camp.

Day 2: Merzouga – Sunrise – Todra Gorge – Ouarzazate – Aït Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

Wake up early to admire the spectacular sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After sunrise, return to the camp for breakfast before beginning the journey towards Marrakech.

Travel through the landscapes of southern Morocco towards Tinghir and Todra Gorge, where you will have time for a short walk between the impressive canyon walls. Continue towards Ouarzazate and the famous Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco's best-known fortified villages.

After the visit, continue across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, with panoramic stops along the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where your 2-day Sahara journey from Fes comes to an end.
