Next, set off on a guided walk through the tea bushes. Interact with local farmers and learn about the different tea varieties — black, green, and purple — and discover how altitude, fertile soils, and climate create the region’s distinct flavors.
Try your hand at tea picking under the guidance of expert farmers, who demonstrate how to harvest the top two leaves and a bud — essential for producing high-quality tea. This interactive step brings the tea-making process vividly to life.
Next, visit the tea processing facility to see leaves undergo withering, rolling, fermentation, drying, and sorting. Some farms even allow you to process a small batch yourself, creating a unique souvenir to take home.
