Starting from your hotel/Airbnb in Medellín, we will take you in a modern van with a local guide included to the district of Santa Elena, which has been protected by the Mayor's Office of Medellín for the production of flowers and silleteras for more than 100 years. There, we will enter a family farm belonging to actual competitors in the Antioquia silleteros parade.
There you will learn that for several generations they have been working as farmers producing flowers, as well as sharing the artistic knowledge of how to select the flowers, how to assemble the base, and how to choose the design that will bring to life a "traditional silleta" to be exhibited at the 2026 flower fair.

Experience like a local the tradition that started the annual flower fair held every August in Medellin, which has been going on for over 100 years.
