Puerto Nariño is a beautiful Indigenous village in the heart of the Amazon's Rainforest, located 2 hours by boat from Leticia.
Here there are NO cars and NO motorcycle, creating a peaceful and authentic atmosphere and the town is complitely surrounded by lush jungle, rivers and lakes.
This Full Day Tour is the perfect gateway to explore the incredible biodiversity of the Amazon, where visitors can discover Wildlife and connect with Nature while also learning about the ancestral traditions of the Indigenous Tikuna.

Itinerary

- Meet up at your accomodation at 8.30 am.

- Walk through the town and visit the local market, where everyday fishermans and growers come to sell their products, people sell street food and teasty coffe.
leave the commercial areas and go up the look-out tower for a breathtaking view.

- Leave the village behind and go on a hike into the high jungle around Puerto Nariño, visit ancient trees, spot wildlife and learn about the strong connection between Men and Nature.

- Reach Wochine natural reserve, a local family farm where is possible to spot the biggest fresh water fish, the Pirarucu. The Family of Wochine is part of preservation programs that aim to protect the biodiversity of the Amazon.

- Delicious Traditional Lunch sourranded by pristine nature.

- Walk back to the village, bit of rest, take the rubber boots off and put sunscreen on.

- Boat ride on the Amazon river looking for pink and grey Dolphins in their natural habitat, learn about the history and the Geographic of the Greatest river in the World and enjoy the sunseet from the best spot. ( swim is also possible )

- Back at the hotel to get ready for the night jungle walk: hike in the mist of the night looking for insects, frogs, spiders and other wildlife.
