Please kindly recheck the pickup details, meeting point, and session time stated on the voucher for your selected package.
Begin your cultural tour with a pickup in Kampala and set off for a 45-minute drive to Buddo Hill, where the Naggalabi Coronation Site is situated. This site marks the exact location where Kintu, the first King of Buganda, defeated his brother Bemba in the 13th century to establish the Buganda Kingdom.
Walk in the literal footsteps of Buganda’s kings and view sacred sites like the Mboneredde Tree, an ancient towering tree that historically served as a tribunal and seating area during King Kintu’s reign. See crucial sacred shrines, the royal drum, and more.
At around midday, take a scenic route through the Nansana/Nabweru countryside to the Wamala Tombs. Arrive at the Wamala Tombs at around 1:00 PM to embark on a guided tour of the tombs, view its distinct architectural mastery, and learn about its history and cultural significance to the Buganda Kingdom.
See sacred groves and traditional artifacts. In the late afternoon, head back to Kampala and be dropped off at the exact spot where you were picked up.
