Begin your adventure with a hearty breakfast at the Viavia Guest House. Then, set off to the Nakiwongo landing site and board a wooden local boat. Sail for about 1-1.5 hours to the iconic Mabamba Swamp.

As you glide through the water channels, keep an eye out for a variety of bird species, including the purple heron, malachite kingfisher, African jacana, shoebill stork, and red-billed stork.

Upon reaching the shores of Lake Victoria, take a brief walk to the Nakiwongo Fish Market. Learn about the history of the landing site and the market from your guide.

Next, drive to the Kitolo Main Market. On your way back to the hotel, pass by the craft market opposite the Victoria Mall.
