Observe wild brown bears in their natural habitat on an exclusive private tour from Brașov. This experience is designed for travelers seeking expert guiding, safety, and an authentic look into local Transylvanian traditions.
Cultural Stop The tour begins with a drive into the Szekler region. Before entering the forest, we stop at a curated local restaurant for an optional traditional meal and a complimentary tasting of homemade highland moonshine.
The Observation We travel in a private, climate-controlled SUV, car or Van to the forest perimeter. A short 400-meter guided walk leads to a secure, professionally managed observation hide. You will spend approximately 2 hours observing wild bears in total silence.
Sighting Guarantee If no bears are sighted during your session, the forest reserve entrance fee paid on-site is refunded to you in full, on the spot, directly by the forestry rangers.
Itinerary & Practicalities 15:00 / 15:30 / 16:00 – Private hotel pick-up in Brașov (timed according to seasonal sunset).
Cultural Stop – Traditional Szekler gastronomy stop and moonshine tasting.
The Forest – Guided 400m walk to the secure observation hide.
The Sight – 2 hours of silent wildlife observation.
Return – Direct drop-off at your accommodation.
Important Information Silence Protocol: Mobile phones must be on silent. No flash photography. Communication inside the hide is by whisper only.
Age Limit: Minimum 6 years old (strictly enforced for safety).
Clothing: Wear dark, discreet layers. Forest temperatures drop quickly after sunset. Avoid bright colors.
Facilities: There are no restrooms at the hide. A comfort stop is made at the restaurant before entering the forest.
