Take in the incredible views of the Vidraru Water Dam and lake, admire from above the real fortress of Vlad the Impaler, the Poienari Fortress.

As we continue driving on the Transfagarasan Road and head to Balea Lake, we will see also Capra Waterfall and it is very possible to meet and to be wowed by the brown bears.

By the time you reach glacial Balea Lake, you may be hungry. While eating some local street food, enjoy your free time and observe the Fagaras Mountains and the northern part of the road.
