Option 1 (Available every Friday): Start your day at the lively Nizwa Friday Market, where traders sell everything from livestock to traditional crafts. Visit the historic Nizwa Fort, a symbol of Omani heritage, before exploring the picturesque village of Al Hamra, known for its ancient mudbrick houses and stunning mountain views.
Option 2 (Available every Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday): Dive into Oman's architectural wonders with a guided tour of Nizwa Fort, followed by a visit to the UNESCO-listed Bahla Fort, a magnificent example of medieval Islamic architecture. Conclude your journey at Jabreen Castle, an impressive structure famed for its intricate carvings and historical significance.
Option 3 (Available every Monday, Thursday, Saturday): Combine history and modernity by visiting the iconic Nizwa Fort, followed by the award-winning Oman Across Ages Museum, which has been honored with the prestigious Versailles World Architecture and Design Award. Option 4 (Available every day): Enjoy a historical and cultural tour from Muscat with a guide. Spend some time discovering Nizwa's Souq and Fort, and continue to Jebel Akhdar for breathtaking views of one of Oman's most beautiful villages.
Option 5 (Available every day): Discover the historic city of Nizwa and the "Mountain of the Sun" on a day trip from Muscat. Explore the fort, visit the Nizwa Souq, and see the Grand Canyon of Oman.
Whichever option you choose, the tour includes pick-up and drop-off from Muscat, comfortable transportation, and an experienced guide to bring each destination to life. Perfect for history enthusiasts and cultural explorers!
