Discover the best of northern Mauritius on a private and flexible full-day tour with Tropical Taxi Mauritius, designed to give you a complete cultural and scenic experience of the island.

Your journey begins with a convenient pickup from your accommodation anywhere in Mauritius. Travel comfortably in a private, air-conditioned vehicle with a friendly and professional driver who will guide you throughout the day.

The first stop is Port Louis, the vibrant capital city. Here you will visit the famous Port Louis Central Market, where you can explore colorful stalls filled with local spices, tropical fruits, souvenirs, and street food, offering a true taste of Mauritian daily life.

Next, you will have a stop at a traditional Tamil temple, where you can admire the architecture and learn about the island’s rich cultural and religious diversity.

The tour continues to the beautiful Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden, one of the most famous attractions in Mauritius. Please note that entry tickets to the botanical garden are not included and must be paid on site by the customer. Inside, you can admire giant water lilies, rare plants, and peaceful tropical surroundings.

Afterwards, your driver can recommend a good local restaurant nearby where you may enjoy an optional lunch and taste authentic Mauritian cuisine.

In the afternoon, visit L'Aventure du Sucre, a unique museum located in a former sugar factory. Here, you will learn about the history of sugar production in Mauritius and its importance to the island’s development. Please note that entry tickets for L’Aventure du Sucre are also not included and must be paid by the customer on arrival.

After a full day of exploration, you will be comfortably driven back to your accommodation.
