1. Start with private pickup from your hotel or Airbnb in the morning from any location in Mauritius
2. Explore the lush surroundings of Trou aux Cerfs, a dormant volcano in the hills of Curepipe. Enjoy the verdant greenery and 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding towns
3. Drive past Mare aux Vacoas, one of the biggest reservoirs in Mauritius, while heading to Grand Bassin, also called Ganga Talao. This crater lake features towering trees, abundant wildlife, numerous statues, and sacred temples where daily worship ceremonies are held
4. Visit the Bois Chéri tea plantation
5. Visit two additional waterfalls (Alexandra Falls and Black River Gorges)
6. Stop for an optional lunch
7. Explore the 7 Colored Earth Geopark, a 650-million-year-old geological oddity whose multihued sands appear in brilliant contrast under sunny skies, and visit Chamarel Waterfall
