The road winds through traditional villages and valleys, offering views of Savin Kuk, one of Durmitor’s most striking peaks.
Continue through dense black pine forests and pass Žabljak — the highest town in the Balkans, known as the heart of mountain tourism in Montenegro.
Soon, you'll reach the stunning Black Lake, affectionately called the “Eyes of Montenegro.” Enjoy a peaceful lakeside walk or breathe in the crisp mountain air on your own way.
Then visit Đurđevića Tara Bridge, an engineering marvel above the turquoise Tara River, the “Tear of Europe.” For adventure lovers, an optional zip-line ride (not included) offers unforgettable canyon views. Drive back.
