Experience Ushguli and the spectacular Shkhara Glacier on horseback with a local Svan guide.

Meet your guide in Ushguli and begin your journey on horseback through the dramatic landscapes of Upper Svaneti. Ride along mountain trails surrounded by alpine meadows, rivers and towering Caucasus peaks, with views toward Mount Shkhara along the way.

At the end of the riding section, your guide will show you where the walking trail begins. You will then walk approximately 2.5 km to the glacier viewpoint at your own pace.

After visiting the viewpoint, return to the horses and ride back to Ushguli.

This experience combines horseback riding, spectacular mountain scenery and a close look at one of Georgia's most remote and beautiful landscapes.
