商品説明

Depart from Addis Ababa and travel south toward Lake Ziway through the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. After approximately 160 km, arrive in the Ziway area. The morning journey provides opportunities to enjoy views of the changing landscape, local villages, farmland, and Rift Valley scenery.

Upon arrival, begin bird watching around the shores of Lake Ziway. The cool morning hours are ideal for observing a variety of waterbirds, including great white pelicans, marabou storks, egrets, herons, cormorants, ibises, and different species of ducks. After the shoreline observation, take a boat trip on Lake Ziway to explore the open water, islands, and wetland areas. Depending on local conditions, you may also have an opportunity to look for hippos and additional bird species.

Enjoy lunch in the Ziway area while taking a short break from bird watching. This is also a good opportunity to discuss the different bird species observed during the morning with your guide.

Continue bird watching around the lake and nearby wetland habitats. The afternoon session provides additional opportunities for photography and observing species that may not have been seen during the morning. Your guide can help identify the birds and explain their habitats and behavior.

At approximately 03:30 PM, begin the return journey to Addis Ababa. Travel approximately 160 km back to the capital while enjoying the scenery of the Rift Valley.
