Enjoy panoramic views of Quito, the Valley of Los Chillos, and the surrounding volcanoes along the Avenue of the Volcanoes. Take a short acclimatization walk at the upper station and capture stunning photos.
Next, transfer to Quito's Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Embark on a guided tour of the main squares, churches, and architectural gems, including Plaza Grande, the Church of the Society of Jesus, and the Convent of San Francisco. Learn about Quito's history, culture, and colonial heritage from certified guides.
Take an optional lunch break at a traditional restaurant in the Historic Center. Sample authentic Ecuadorian cuisine and savor local flavors.
In the afternoon, visit El Panecillo, an iconic viewpoint offering 360° panoramic views of the city and surrounding volcanoes. Continue to the Middle of the World, where you can stand on the equatorial line.
