Day 1 Quito–Baños

Trip Itinerary:
6:15 AM Departure from Quito from the selected pickup point 07:15 Stop and time for breakfast at the entrance to Cotopaxi National Park 8:45 a.m. Hike in Cotopaxi National Park, home to one of the highest active volcanoes in the world 1:00 p.m. Stop and time for lunch. 2:00 PM Guided visit in Quilotoa. Explore the 3-km-wide turquoise volcanic crater lake 5:00 p.m. Stop to enjoy the famous Ecuadorian ice cream on the way to Baños 7:30 p.m. Arrival in Baños, home to smoking volcanoes, thundering waterfalls, and hot springs. Descent from the Basilica.

8:00 AM Departure from Baños, heading to the heart of the nation, Riobamba. 10:00 AM Visit to the community of La Moya, where you'll learn about the history of Ecuador's ancestral peoples. Take part in a "cleansing ceremony" and share this tradition with the local community. 12:00 p.m. Visit to the traditional market in Guamote, one of the largest and most colorful markets in the country, to learn about the different products sold by the Kichwa people. 1:30 p.m. Enjoy time for a lunch prepared by the members of an indigenous community. 3:30 p.m. Hike through the hills of Ozogoche, exploring an area with more than 45 lagoons and observing Andean wildlife amid breathtaking landscapes. 6:30 p.m. Descent to the town of Alausí.
Day 5 Alausí - Cuenca

07:30 Meet at the train station 8:00 AM Enjoy the adventure of the world's most difficult train ride, the Devil's Nose Train. 1:30 p.m. Enjoy time for a traditional lunch. 2:30 p.m. Venture into the Ecuadorian Cañari-Inca ruins of Ingapirca for a tour of the site. 3:30 p.m. Before arriving in Cuenca, visit the Turi vantage point, where you can enjoy an incredible view of the city. 6:00 p.m. Arrival in Cuenca and drop-off at Parque Calderón.
