商品説明
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Baños de Agua Santa. Travel by tourist transport to the province of Cotopaxi, passing through rural landscapes and mountainous scenery of the Ecuadorian Highlands. Stop to enjoy a traditional Ecuadorian breakfast prepared by local community businesses, ideal to fuel up before the hike.
Begin the trek around the crater rim, walking along the edge of the volcano with constant views of the turquoise lagoon. During the hike, the guide will explain the geological formation of the Quilotoa volcano, the history of ancient eruptions, Andean páramo flora, and the cultural and natural importance of the area.
Enjoy a picnic-style lunch (box lunch) during the hike at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the crater. After the hike, return to the starting point of the trail. Relax with a cup of Andean tea while enjoying the impressive scenery.
If time permits, make brief visits to additional attractions along the route. Return to Baños de Agua Santa in the evening.
