Mangroves Of Terraba

It is a kayak tour through the mangroves of Terraba, in search of different types of animals, during the tour you will have possibilities to observe a large number of bird species such as ospreys, scarlet macaws, green heron, blue heron, tiger heron.

Mangroves are an important part of marine ecosystems and serve as nurseries for marine species. This is a place where red mangrove (Rhizophora mangle), black mangrove (Avicennia germinans), white mangrove (Laguncularia racemosa), and Piñuela mangrove (Pelliciera rhizophorae) are very common. Other animals such as capuchin monkeys, spider monkeys, raccoons and crocodiles; sometimes you can see some of these beautiful animals.

The beauty of the landscape makes this tour a special moment to harmonize with nature.
