Flavors of the Forest is designed for travelers seeking a deeper and more authentic side of
Costa Rica, exploring how agriculture, and traditional cooking shaped the
identity of Monteverde long before tourism arrived.
The experience begins at the San Luis viewpoint, where we share local coffee while
overlooking the mountains that supported the region’s first agricultural communities.
Throughout the journey, we visit a local rural space where we discover:
