After pickup from your accommodation, begin with a scenic drive through Monteverde’s mountain roads while your local guide introduces you to the history, environment, and rural character of the region.
**Stop 1 – Santa Elena Guided Walk – approximately 45 minutes**
Explore the center of Santa Elena on foot with your guide. Learn about daily life in Monteverde, the development of the community, and the unique character of this small mountain town.
**Stop 2 – Guided Nature & Wildlife Walk – approximately 1 hour**
Continue into the surrounding countryside for an included guided nature walk. Your guide will help you identify local vegetation, native birds, and wildlife that may include coatis, agoutis, and other species commonly seen in Monteverde.
**Stop 3 – Scenic Mountain Viewpoint – approximately 30 minutes**
