Your experience begins when you meet your certified naturalist guide, who will accompany you throughout this private tour of the Mistico Hanging Bridges in La Fortuna, one of the most renowned tropical forest reserves in Costa Rica. From the start, you'll walk along trails surrounded by lush vegetation while discovering the extraordinary biodiversity that characterizes the foothills of the Arenal Volcano.
Along the way, you'll cross spectacular suspension bridges suspended over the forest canopy, from where you'll enjoy unique panoramic views and a privileged perspective of the tropical rainforest. Thanks to your tour guide's experience and the use of a spotting scope, you'll have excellent opportunities to observe and photograph two- and three-toed sloths, toucans, arasaris, howler monkeys, white-faced capuchin monkeys, motmots, trogons, tanagers, hummingbirds, lizards, butterflies, and many other species of wildlife that inhabit this ecosystem.
During the hike, you'll learn about the flora and fauna of the rainforest, the relationships between different species, conservation efforts, and the ecological importance of one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. Your tour guide will answer all your questions and share fascinating facts about the behavior, feeding, and adaptations of the animals you encounter during the experience.
As this is a completely private tour, you'll enjoy personalized attention, without large groups and with the flexibility to move at your own pace, spend more time observing nature, and get better opportunities for wildlife photography.
