Embark on an authentic adventure through the channels of Tortuguero National Park. During this 2.5-hour experience, you'll go kayaking along the main canals and through narrower sections, surrounded by the lush tropical forest.

Accompanied by a local guide with knowledge of the ecosystem, you'll have the opportunity to discover the incredible biodiversity of Tortuguero and spot wildlife such as sloths, different species of monkeys, caimans, and a wide variety of tropical birds.

Kayaking allows you to explore the canals in a relaxed, close-to-nature way, with excellent opportunities to observe and photograph wildlife. As you paddle, you can enjoy the sounds of the rainforest and discover details of the ecosystem that could easily go unnoticed.

This experience requires a moderate level of fitness and is ideal for those looking to combine physical activity, nature, and wildlife watching during their visit to Tortuguero.

  • Know Before You Go: - About the park entrance fee: Entrance to the National Park is not included. The entrance ticket to Tortuguero National Park must be purchased in advance through the official SINAC website.
