ATV Tour – Gulf of Papagayo (Departing from Sardinal / Playa Panamá)
Estimated duration: 3 hours Starting point: Sardinal or Playa Panamá, in the heart of the Gulf of Papagayo.
Suggested Itinerary
Meeting point and welcome Arrive at the meeting point in Playa Panamá or Sardinal. You'll receive a brief safety briefing and be provided with the necessary equipment (helmet, water, basic riding instructions).
Ride through natural trails We begin the adventure by riding along rural trails that wind through dry and tropical forests, crossing small creeks and areas with native vegetation—ideal for spotting birds, iguanas, and other local wildlife.
River crossings and muddy zones Exciting off-road sections include shallow river crossings and muddy terrain, offering a true ATV adventure experience.
Scenic mountain ridges We climb to higher ground, where you’ll enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Gulf and nearby islands, including a vantage point overlooking five or more beaches in the Papagayo area.
Stop at Sardinal village Take a short break in the charming town of Sardinal, where you can learn about local culture, grab a cold drink, or shop for snacks at a nearby store.
Return through forest paths We wrap up the tour riding back through forested trails, completing the circuit back to Playa Panamá.
