The experience begins at the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve, where we will learn how environmental education and community participation transformed the relationship between people and the forest. Next, we will visit CASEM, a local community project that reflects how conservation also transformed the local economy and created opportunities for families and women artisans. We will then continue to the Children’s Eternal Rainforest, one of the most important private conservation projects in Central America, protected thanks to children and schools from around the world. The experience ends at Sensoria Monteverde with a natural herbal infusion and a reflective conversation about regeneration, biological corridors, and the future of conservation in Monteverde.
