During this tour, you'll get to know the historic center of Heredia, a city that preserves important heritage buildings and spaces that allow you to understand the transformation of Costa Rican society. We'll walk through the town center while talking about the people, events, and ways of life that shaped Heredia's history.

We'll visit iconic sites such as Central Park, El Fortín, the Parish of the Immaculate Conception, the Liceo de Heredia, and other heritage sites in the historic center.

You will also visit Heredia's Municipal Market, a key place for understanding the city's daily life and gastronomy. The market opened in 1889 and today brings together shops, food, and activities that are part of the daily life of the people of Heredia.

Then we'll head to the Museum of Popular Culture in Santa Lucía de Barva. Transportation from downtown Heredia to the museum is included in the activity price, with no additional charges. There you will learn about different aspects of Costa Rica's traditions and way of life. The museum preserves and showcases elements of popular culture, allowing us to get closer to the daily life of previous generations.
