Discover the rich history and modern charm of Baku on this guided city walking tour combined with a panoramic night experience. From the ancient streets of the Old City to the illuminated skyline of the capital, this experience offers a complete introduction to Azerbaijan’s fascinating culture, architecture, and atmosphere both during the day and at night.
The tour begins in the historic Old City (Icherisheher), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the heart of ancient Baku. Here you will walk through narrow stone streets while visiting some of the city’s most important landmarks, including the iconic Maiden Tower, the Shirvanshah Palace complex, and the unique Miniature Book Museum.
During the Old City exploration, guests will also enjoy a traditional Azerbaijani baklava tasting, allowing you to experience one of the country’s most famous desserts.
After exploring the historic center, the tour continues to some of Baku’s most impressive modern attractions. You will visit the Carpet Museum, one of the most recognizable buildings in the city, and enjoy a relaxing walk near Little Venice and the beautiful Baku Boulevard area.
Next, we head to Highland Park, one of the best panoramic viewpoints in the city. From here you can enjoy spectacular views of the Caspian Sea, Baku Boulevard, and the famous Flame Towers dominating the skyline. The visit will also include a stop at the Alley of Martyrs, an important memorial site in Azerbaijan’s modern history.
Guests will also have the opportunity to experience the Baku Funicular, connecting the city with Highland Park and offering a unique perspective of the city.
The tour continues with visits to modern attractions such as Deniz Mall and the Baku Ferris Wheel area, where guests can take photos and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
During the daytime experience, guests will also enjoy a local wine tasting, offering a chance to discover Azerbaijani wines and learn about the country’s long winemaking tradition.
In the evening, the experience continues with a comfortable night tour by car, allowing you to discover Baku’s illuminated landmarks and completely different atmosphere after dark. During the night tour, you will visit Highland Park, Martyrs’ Alley, Victory Park, Flag Square, and the Heydar Aliyev Center, all beautifully illuminated at night and ideal for panoramic photos.
