Explore the historical core of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on a guided walking tour of the Old City. Discover the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls, and see the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Meet your guide and set off to explore the Old City, which had a population of about 3,000 people in 2007. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Walk through the Double Gates, and see the Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais. Admire the Maiden Tower, St. Bartholomew Church, and Bazaar Square. Visit the Juma Mosque, Gasimbey Bath, and Agha Mikayil Bathhouse. See the Vahid Monument and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs.
