The excursion starts from the Port of Ushuaia, located in the downtown area. We will initially sail south through Ushuaia Bay, from where we'll enjoy a panoramic view of the city, the mountains, and the valleys. A few minutes later, we'll be sailing across the waters of the Beagle Channel toward our first destination: the Bridges Islands. In this archipelago, we'll see some colonies of imperial cormorants and South American sea lions.
If weather conditions allow, we'll have the chance to disembark on an island for an easy hike that will let us admire the area's typical flora and take in incredible panoramic views of the city of Ushuaia and the Andes Mountains.
We'll continue sailing east until we reach the Les Eclaireurs archipelago, located about 17 km southeast of Ushuaia city, where the lighthouse of the same name is located. This lighthouse has become a distinctive symbol of the "City at the End of the World." Here, alongside other colonies of birds and sea lions, there are a few remnants of the shipwreck of the cruise ship Monte Cervantes, which occurred in 1930.
