Your adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel in Ushuaia. Travel along National Route 3, heading southwest toward the park’s entrance. As you enter Tierra del Fuego National Park, you’ll be surrounded by a landscape shaped by glaciers, rivers, and the Beagle Channel. Your guide will lead you through highlights such as the rushing Pipo River, the slopes of Mount Susana, and the tranquil shores of Lake Acigami. Stop at the Alakush Visitor Center to learn about the region’s ecology and history, then continue to Laguna Verde for panoramic views and a breath of crisp Patagonian air.
A highlight of the tour is Lapataia Bay, the legendary end point of the Pan-American Highway. Know Before You Go: Entrance to the National Park is not included and must be paid upon arrival, in cash only (credit and debit cards are not accepted). The approximate cost is AR$30,000 for foreigners and AR$9,000 for Argentine residents.
