商品説明

Total distance: 14 km
Elevation gain: 600 meters (1,969 feet)
Difficulty: moderate

Cross a frozen lagoon and get close to a glacier with ice that's hundreds of years old: the Vinciguerra Glaciar. Do it with certified mountain guides, born in Ushuaia, and in a group of no more than 5 people. The guides will accompany you and diligently assist you all the way.
We'll pick you up early in the morning from your accommodation. After the pickup in Ushuaia, we drive to the start of the trail (20 minutes). We start the day by hiking for half an hour through the valley, next to the Arroyo Grande. Then, we begin the ascent through the Nothofagus forest. After two hours of hiking (from the trailhead), we leave the forest for what we call El Pastizal, an incredible setting that makes you feel like you're above the clouds. But we have one more slope to climb, now outside the forest and surrounded by mountains. This last ascent takes 30 minutes. After that, we arrive at the Tempanos Lagoon. We take as many photos as we want, and continue to the glacier, which adds about fifteen more minutes. In total, it's approximately 3.5 hours to the glacier.
We finally reach the front of the glacier! We can admire the magnificent ice formations. The photos speak for themselves. Now we can sit down for lunch and have a hot chocolate, the best drink for the cold and the mountains.
After this, we start the descent, which usually takes 2.5 hours. It's a day you'll never forget, because of the beauty of the scenery, the effort you made, and the great reward of making it to the end.

Upon returning from the activity, we will drop you off at your accommodation.

In the event of a storm warning, a full refund will be offered, or the activity will be rescheduled for another day in the near future.
