Embark on a full-day tour to the Punta Tombo Natural Reserve from Puerto Madryn. Walk through the 3 km natural path to see the Magellanic Penguins in their natural environment during their reproductive time.
Start your day with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Puerto Madryn. Travel to the Punta Tombo Natural Reserve, located 180 km from Puerto Madryn.
Once there, walk through the 3 km natural path to see the Magellanic Penguins in their natural environment during their reproductive time. Hear the animals calling for their mates, mating, fighting for the nests, breeding the chicks, or molting their feathers, depending on the season.
With their white chests and black backs, the penguins represent a special group of land-sea fauna of Patagonia.
Optional: The Paleontological Museum of Trelew or Gaiman or Dolphin Watching at Playa Union are offered as optional extras. Only one can be chosen. If you do not inform us of your preference for the optional extra the day before the tour, the default option will be the one most requested by our passengers for that day.
