We'll pick you up from your accommodation early in the morning and head to the Valdés Peninsula. After 40 minutes, we'll arrive at the El Desempeño checkpoint, where we'll pay the entrance tickets to the reserve, which cost around $30 USD, depending on the time of year. We'll then continue to the Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center, located on the Isthmus of the same name, to explore its various informative galleries and see the complete skeleton of a Southern Right Whale, as well as view the Gulfs Nuevo and San José from a lookout tower. We continue on to Puerto Pirámides, with the chance along the way to spot native wildlife such as guanacos, rheas, maras, and more. Upon arriving in the village, we get ready to sail in the waters of Golfo Nuevo, an activity that takes place on rigid-hull boats or semi-rigid inflatables with a maximum capacity of up to 50 passengers. Duration is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. After the activity and some free time to explore the picturesque Tourist Villages, we head back to the El Doradillo Natural Protected Area, considered the best place in the world for sighting Southern Right Whales from the shore. We'll see whales just a few meters away, a truly unimaginable sighting. In the afternoon, we head back to the city of Puerto Madryn. The order of activities may vary depending on the tide schedule.
