Discover Aconcagua and Mendoza’s most iconic Andean landscapes on a private full-day journey designed to enjoy the mountains without rushing.

Travel along the scenic road that connects Mendoza with the high Andes, covering almost 400 km round trip. Rather than treating the drive simply as a way to reach Aconcagua, we make carefully chosen stops throughout the journey for landscapes, photographs, local history, and some of the region’s most recognizable places.

Visit Cacheuta, Potrerillos, Uspallata, and Puente del Inca as the scenery changes from the foothills to the dramatic landscapes of the high Andes.

The highlight of the day is Aconcagua Provincial Park. Here, enjoy approximately 2 hours inside the park, walking at a relaxed pace along the easy, non-technical trail toward Laguna Horcones. Take your time to enjoy the landscape, photograph the surrounding glaciers, and admire the impressive south face of Aconcagua.

This is a private experience, so the day is just for your booking party. There is no large group to follow, allowing for a more personal rhythm throughout the journey while always respecting road, weather, and park conditions.

We also take care of the food throughout the day. Enjoy breakfast in Uspallata, snacks and water for the road, and a traditional Argentine asado lunch with wine and dessert after visiting the high mountain area.

A complete day in the Andes for travelers who want to see Aconcagua without a demanding trek, while enjoying the landscapes, stories, food, and journey along the way.

  • Know Before You Go: This is a full-day High Mountain experience covering almost 400 km round trip. You will spend approximately 6 to 7 hours in the vehicle throughout the day, with several stops along the route.

  • Know Before You Go: Restroom facilities in the high mountains are very limited and basic. There are long sections of the route with no restrooms at all, and the facilities available at some stops can be quite rustic. We recommend using the restroom whenever there is an opportunity along the way.

  • Know Before You Go: Mountain weather and road conditions can change quickly, especially during winter. We monitor conditions before every departure. If the road is closed and the tour cannot operate, the tour will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.
