商品説明

Paint your own piece of UNESCO-listed heritage art alongside a Maestro Fileteador in the barrio where this craft was born. This three-hour experience blends a guided walk through San Telmo with a two-hour hands-on workshop — capped at 10 people so you actually get the master's attention.

Fileteado Porteño is the swirling, colorful lettering art declared Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, and San Telmo is its living gallery. You'll meet your guide in front of Bar El Federal, a designated "Bar Notable" of Buenos Aires, where a fileteado mural sets the scene for your first lesson in the symbols, curves and rules behind the style.

From there, you'll walk the cobblestone streets, decoding filete work tucked into shopfronts and facades, and stop inside Iglesia de San Pedro González Telmo to see original pieces by the legendary Martiniano Arce. The route continues to the iconic Mercado de San Telmo before arriving at Fedro Libros, the studio where your workshop begins.

A Maestro Fileteador then hands you the brushes. You'll learn the technique — the loaded stroke, the flourishes, the color logic — and paint your own filete board to take home, along with a certificate of participation.

Available Thursday to Sunday. Guided portion in Spanish, English or Portuguese depending on the group.
