La Boca is an open-air museum and the perfect setting for a photo shoot full of life, history, and contrasts. On this tour, we'll avoid the crowds to find the most authentic corners of the old tenements and the streets of sheet metal and wood that gave rise to the harbor's identity.
Our step-by-step tour:
Meeting point: Plazoleta Bomberos Voluntarios. We meet at the strategic entrance to Caminito, facing the river, to take advantage of the open light and the structure of the Transbordador Bridge in the background.
The Heart of Caminito: We'll walk along the most famous street-museum in the world. We'll look for the colorful balconies, the iron staircases, and the iconic facades to create portraits that look like they're from a postcard, but with you as the star.
Pasaje Garibaldi: A much quieter and more authentic spot. Here, the train tracks and the original sheet metal houses offer an incredible texture for street-style photos with a nostalgic touch.
Tango Corners: We'll take advantage of the murals and typical architecture of Calle Magallanes, where the spirit of the 2x4 is felt on every corner.
Wrap-up in front of the Riachuelo: We'll finish with panoramic shots near the bridge, capturing the industrial scale and the immensity of the harbor that was the birthplace of the city.
