If you haven't tried a Malbec in San Telmo, you still have a part of Buenos Aires to discover. This experience invites you to get to know Argentine wine from a sensory, cultural, and gastronomic perspective in the intimate and elegant atmosphere of La Cava del Querandí, a restored 19th-century mansion located in the historic heart of the city.
The activity begins at Perú 322, San Telmo, where you will be welcomed by a specialized sommelier who will accompany you throughout the food tasting. Over the course of 90 minutes, you'll travel through three of Argentina's most representative winemaking regions via their emblematic grape varieties.
You'll start with a Torrontés from the Northwest paired with empanaditas salteñas, continue with a Pinot Noir from Patagonia accompanied by a crostini with mushrooms, and finish with a Malbec from Cuyo alongside veal skewers. Each pairing has been designed to highlight the aromas, flavors, and textures of each wine.
In addition, you'll participate in an interactive sensory activity with aromatizers that will help you identify floral, fruity, and spicy notes like a true wine lover, even if you have no previous experience.
More than a simple tasting, this experience is a way to understand the Argentinian identity through its wines, its cuisine, and the history of San Telmo. Ideal for couples, solo travelers, and lovers of local culture seeking an authentic and unique experience in Buenos Aires.
The activity starts and ends at La Cava del Querandí, Perú 322, San Telmo. It does not include transportation and is available from Tuesdays to Saturdays at 7:00 PM in Spanish. Minimum age: 18 years old.
