商品説明

Discover Buenos Aires through its buildings on this walking tour of the city's history and architecture.

We'll start at Plaza de Mayo, the political and foundational heart of Buenos Aires, where the Cabildo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Casa Rosada, and the Banco Nación stand.

From there, we'll head north along Calle Reconquista to stop in front of the Banco Hipotecario headquarters, an imposing work of Argentine brutalism. In this area of the microcentro, multiple styles and architects coexist, reflecting a city in constant transformation.

We'll continue to the Kirchner Cultural Center (formerly the Post and Telegraph Office), a jewel of eclecticism with a fascinating history, before heading up the legendary Avenida Corrientes, the epicenter of Buenos Aires theater and nightlife.

We'll admire two icons of popular culture — the Teatro Gran Rex and the Teatro Ópera — and arrive at the Obelisco and the Plaza de la República, symbols of the urban identity of Buenos Aires.

Then, we'll walk along Diagonal Norte to a panoramic staircase offering one of the city's most iconic views: the intersection of Avenida 9 de Julio and Corrientes.

On the final stretch, we'll explore Plaza Lavalle, surrounded by the Palacio de Tribunales and the Julio A. Roca School, two jewels of national academicism.

There, we'll enjoy a tasting of mate, our traditional infusion, while you discover its history and role in Argentine culture.

The tour ends in front of Teatro Colón, one of the world's leading opera houses, where you'll have the option of continuing with a guided visit inside.
